Laura Hogan.

Laura's journey to become a certified Postpartum Doula began as a teenager who found cozy corners in bookstores reading and absorbing like a sponge all the information she could get about birth, newborns and becoming a Mom.  After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a rewarding 30+ year career in Special Education she took the leap to certify as a Postpartum Doula.

With a serene and supportive nature, Laura offers personalized assistance to families, covering areas such as infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery, bonding, soothing, and baby care. Her intuitive approach allows her to meet individuals where they are and address their needs during the fourth trimester.

As a mother of three, Laura deeply understands the significance of postpartum care. Her mission is to empower birthing parents and their partners, facilitating nourishment, grounding, and empowerment as they embark on or continue their journey into parenthood. She holds a personal interest in postpartum mental health, drawing from her own experience of a traumatic birth and recovery with her second baby.
